Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day resting or exploring the vibrant streets of Kathmandu.
Today, you will explore the cultural and historical landmarks of Kathmandu city, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
You will take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, where you will meet your trekking crew and start your trek towards Phakding. You will trek through beautiful forests and cross suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River.
You will continue your trek towards Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region. You will climb uphill and reach the Sagarmatha National Park checkpoint, where you will be greeted by stunning mountain views.
Today, you will take a rest day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the altitude. You can explore the colorful market, visit the Sherpa Museum, or hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Mount Everest and other peaks.
You will trek towards Tengboche, where you will visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. You will also be rewarded with stunning views of Ama Dablam and other peaks.
You will continue your trek towards Dingboche, a scenic village surrounded by towering mountains. You will pass through beautiful forests and cross the Imja Khola River.
Today, you will take a rest day in Dingboche to acclimatize to the altitude. You can hike to Nangkartshang Peak for panoramic views of the surrounding peaks or explore the village and interact with the locals.
You will trek towards Lobuche, where you will be surrounded by breathtaking views of the Khumbu Glacier and other peaks. You will pass through the scenic village of Thukla and see memorials dedicated to mountaineers who lost their lives on Everest.
You will trek towards Gorak Shep and visit the Everest Base Camp, where you can witness the awe-inspiring sight of the world's tallest peak. You will also have stunning views of Khumbu Icefall and other peaks.
You will wake up early and hike to Kalapatthar, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region, to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. You will then trek to Dzongla, where you will be surrounded by stunning views of Cholatse, Lobuche, and other peaks.
Today is a challenging day as you cross the high-altitude Chola Pass and descend towards the Gokyo Valley. You will be rewarded with breathtaking views of Cho Oyu and other peaks as you reach the serene Gokyo Lake.
You will take a rest day in Gokyo to acclimatize to the altitude and hike to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of the Everest region. You will also have stunning views of the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in Nepal.
The trails to the ridge go through the lakes of the Gokyo Valleys. The 2-3 hours of hiking take to the ridge of the Gokyo. The Gokyo Ridge offers stunning views of the Cho Oyu, Gyanchung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and several peaks of the Mahalangur Ranges. After breakfast, we slowly descend the River Dudh Koshi. The descent leads to another ascending. The descent even offers the best views of Mt. Cholatse and Taboche. We arrive at the Chorten at the top of the hill allowing the best glimpse of the MT. Thamserku, Cho Oyu, Kangtega and many others. A few more steps lead to Machhermo for the night.
You will trek towards Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through the beautiful landscape and Sherpa villages.
You will continue your descent towards Lukla, where you will have a final celebration with your trekking crew.
You will take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu and be transferred to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day shopping for souvenirs or exploring the streets of Kathmandu.
